    tree frogs lay their eggs on leaves the overhang the water and the male fertilizes them when the sperm meets the egg a tappole is created (wonderfull to watch)and drops into the water

    on the dark edges of still waters are less preditor fish that would eat the eggs

    d) their gills cannot extract oxygen from water that is moving too swiftly
