I live and work in China .I am an Aussie. I have found that across the board the chinese people are a happy, friendly, resilient and resourceful bunch, their efforts at hosting the games should be applauded - ths only nasty comments I have read are mostly from, obnoxious, arrogant, self deluded, ill informed and completely tiresome Americans -sorry but I was hoping that this question would be answered without "****" How many of you would have the guts to say the things that have been said on this forum without the safety and facelessness of the internet? especially the derogatory statements about the Chinesse people. shame
