  1. Since all humans can be traced back to 1 woman (Lucy, not Eve), so what.

    Apply a little common sense. These genetic markers are passed from the mother only. Any female who had only sons would not be included in the group although they passed their genes through the male line. Any individual would have many female ancestors including at least one of the 6. and every female would have a direct link to one of the 6 in addition to many other ancestors. It is highly unlikely that there were only 6 women in the original colonists. A few hundred or even a few thousand would not violate the statement of the lineage being derived from 6 women.

OK I really don't believe that most Native American women, up to 6 have or give or get lineage to others either that you might be calling them fast and loose I highly disagree on because I believe that they stick with one man, but I agree with you on the loose part because they have a lot of kids. and sorry for not really understanding what you're saying so please forgive on that, put it this way at least I tried to answer you question, sorry for not being that much of a help.
