  1. Medical, tehcnology, science, and engineering.


  2. Doctors, nurses etc are in demand. Contractors, builders, plumbers, electrician or skilled labor are still in high demand. Other than that lots of fields are leveling out. Although the job market is still pretty strong in the new orleans area.

  3. Travel agents to help the smart people get out. The place is falling apart!

  4. There are shortages in the legal, medical, teaching, retail, and service fields, plus most trades.
