But their national carrier ' Sri lankan airlines' employed only girls with a fair skin.

i am a south african of Africaana decent reciding in australia and 25 years ago i wanted to travel to sri lanka on a visit. i then had my south african passport, and when i contacted the sri lanka embassy in canberra about vis requirements a sri lanka lady at their embassy told me this rudely,

' south african passport holders are not allowed to enter sri lanka because you people are racists who have a policy known as aparthied'

How funny is this sort of Hypocracy?

  1. I strongly dislike the manner in which, you allege, you were treated and being physicaly disabled.

    I have been treated.

    As if I am Mentally Retarded, by the vast majority of Americans, Canadians and Brittish, places I have been to, or people with whom I have, had the displeasure of being associated with.

    So I can, perhaps, side with you on being treated rudely. Up to the point where, if I never go back to the North American Continent and the United Kingdom.

    IT'LL BE TOO SOON

  2. Just as funny as it is here in the US.....only difference is that you were actually TOLD to your face.....kudos to sri lanka >:{

  3. 25 years ago I think that was true.  I'm fuzzy on my dates. You have to remember back then the world was h**l bent on destroying any form of racism anywhere in the world. They had South Africa almost ostracized at one time. I didn't think black South African's could travel back then.
