Most of the world roots against the USA, but for Obama- what does this say about Barak?

Why is Europe so happy about an Obama presidency? Does he reflect their values?

They are happy about an Obama presidency because it means a better America in the future.  Europeans don't WANT to hate America.  It's impossible to ignore our influence, so if they have to deal with us, they'd like to deal with a BETTER version of us.  A version of America that doesn't police the world.  A version of America with a good economy.

They are happy for Obama, because in the long run, Obama is good for the entire world.  He would help make America respected again across the globe
