  1. Modern battery technology has improved a lot recently. If your phone was fully charged before you used it there shouldn't be a problem with your battery.

To maximise the capacity of your battery, let it run down completely before recharging it again and then charge it up overnight. This should allow the battery to develop it's full potential.

After this, follow the charging guidelines in your phone's instruction book.

  2. The batteries are charged when manufactured, but often spend time in a warehouse and shipping and on the shelves in the store. Most often, they will charge quickly, because they really havent been used. But you should run them down all the way down soon after that. The batteries have a kind of memory. It learns it's work cycle. Like a muscle, if you dont use it, it gets weak. The first charge after that might take a while. Over night should be sufficient. Battery manufacturers have tried to do studies to determine the best charging cycles, but no 2 people use the cell phone the same. It is difficult to replicate the actuale use of the battery, so they came up with an average. Most chargers are programmed with a charging cycle for the average cell phone. There are too many variables to do an accurate study. Most batteries through normal use will last about a year.

  3. the cell phone battery needs to be awaken. that is, to charge it before use, run it, recharge it, run it, recharge it, and then it will behave like it should.
