Most quiet and romantic resturant in melbourne?

I have been to some that advertise as being "romantic" only to find the tables are so close together, you hear more of the next conversation than you would like. Also the acoustics are bad and every thing seems so loud

There are some really nice places along HArdware lane in the city... I cant really remember any specific names, but they are all really nice. You can just walk along the cobbled street and take your pick. It's very romanitc and beautiful around there.

Melbourne has so many options, and out of the way restaurants, its just up to you to find something thats right for you. Just look up one of the Melbourne sites, or the 'bar secrets  - Dine out - cards'

Well sounds like you need to get maccas drive thru, go to the park and feed the seagulls, maybe wash it all down with a bottle of passionpop, oh what a night

Yes, Hardware lane is lovely. A great place is the Deanery. Quite exensive and it's hard to find!! Most people wouldn't go there as you can't really see ift from the street. It's exclusive and quiet.
