I saw once this one episode of Animal Planet's Extreme countdown, they had as most resistant organism--I believe that was the category--this unicellular organism(?) that could survive the most extreme of temperatures... (both extreme--but reeeally extreme--cold and hot temps). You could say that its shape resembles that of some type of tiny "Flubber"--lol--and I believe it is some type of archaebacteria, but I don't quite remember the exact name... Anyone know?
