  1. how about baron davis going to the clippers, then Brand ditches him and goes to phili lol

  2. josh childress goin 2 play in greece n leave the NBA

  3. b. diddy opting out

  4. Elton Brand Jump ship to PHilly.

  5. I was surprised by the Mayo trade. I was also plesantly surprised by Brand going to Philly.

  6. It has to be the Camby trade camby is worth more than a second rounder.

  7. The most shocking offseason moves would be Baron Davis going to the Clippers in hopes to make the Clippers a huge threat in the West but it was faulted when Elton Brand moved to the 76ers to put them into contention in the East!

  8. i was surprised by the OJ Mayo trade but i was glad that he is on a young team so i am going with Baron Davis ditching us

  9. I can't believe the Raptors wanted Jermaine O'Neill

  10. The Clips STEALING Camby...

  11. oj mayo,i thought the twolves would have had a great inside outside threat with mayo and al jefferson but i guess i was wrong

  12. It's gotta be Camby being traded by the Nuggets...I mean his the league's leading shot blocker and you're just gonna trade him for a second rounder...though there were some cash reconsiderations...

  13. for me it was the Camby for 2nd Rounder

I still dont see what the Nuggets were thinking to trade Camby.

    it came as a surprise

  14. 1.  Childress signing in Greece (and I totally support players doing this).  About F*^%$#* time a player in restricted FA called out some of these teams, especially the Hawks.

    2.  Posey at age 31 signing for a 4-year contract at his option

    3.  Elton Brand to the 76er's.  I honestly thought he would stay there once they tied up Baron Davis. (I can't blame him either)

    4.  Camby to the Clips for a right to switch of second rounders.  I figured they would trade him for another expiring contract with a sign and traded JR.  Maybe for Marion?

    5.  Gerald Greene signiningfor the minimum with the Mavs.  Really?  We get Bass last season and now Greene after we traded all our draft picks away?  WTF.  Other teams had a chance to bury them completely and now both guys get to play and learn the game from Kidd, Dirk, and Terry.  I would have signed Greene out of spite.

Still more summer to go however.

  15. of the ones you mentioned, i have to say the camby transaction. i thought he had a firm position in denver but i guess they didn't like his contract. he was the only player in denver that is known for his defense. he had the numbers to prove it. i guess they also didn't like his injury problems. he can barely fit in 70 games. clippers get his hefty contract and a perennial defensive player of the year candidate and only give up a second rounder.

but i still think the brand to the sixers move was more shocking. it was a stupid agent to management disagreement that landed brand in philly. i thought baron davis would make him stay, and brand even agreed to take less money, but his agent messed everything up. even coach dunleavy cried to the media saying he felt betrayed.

the clippers have been in the middle of some pretty shocking moves this year.

  16. Camby for the "option of swapping second-round picks in 2010". They got him for free!

  17. Gilbert Arenas, I thought he was going to sign with a new team, I was surprised that he stuck with the Wizards

  18. Clips getting Camby because they get a defensive player without an exchange just a second rounder. You know that Denver is not used to draft a player.

The trade of OJ Mayo is not that big because the wolves really need a big man of Love to pair with Jefferson. The wolves lack of big man last year. So they benefit it.

The other 2 is not a big surprise getting Williams is just a bonus for warriors. While re-signing Arenas is just what the wizards really going. Without Arenas they(Wizards) will not be a contender in East.

  19. The Sixers stealing Brand from the LA Clippers.
