The most stars I have ever received for a question wasn't really a question. I earned 55 stars for the question containing my announcement of my grandfather's worsening medical condition. Unfortunately, there was a heartless prick who reported my question and it was deleted. This question earned 27 stars http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

It was never about the stars for me, because the support from everyone was reward enough for what I needed during that struggle. I have never received a Best of Answers.

i think it was 16 and it was for the one on whether you share your birthday with an nhler.  Unfortunately like most questions, it got deleted thanks to trolls.
