Traditionally yeast has always been used to ferment molasses the left out solution in sugar industry with 4-12% sugar unrecoverable sugar which is used by the yeast to ferment it to ethyl alcohol. The industry has fine tuned it very much to get the maximum yield of ethyl alcohol which is possible by diluting it constantly as other wise yeast dies once ethyl alcohol concentration exceeds 3%.....
