  1. Provided you comply with the law re the person instructing and other legal responsibilities then yes. The problem you may encounter is getting a car on the Motabilty scheme with only a provisional licence, but if you do, you can actually drive it at the age of sixteen!

Lady Carole may have a point, the website says there are restrictions regarding holders of provisional licences, although it doesn't say what they are, it doesn't discount them.

  2. I don`t think so, motability have some very strict rules. Have a look here, it may help http://www.motability.co.uk/main.cfm?Typ...

  3. l think that you would have to provide proof of driving entitlement ( produce full licence ) to the garage on the application for the mobility car.that's if you were to lease a car for three years off the mobility scheme, if you were to buy a second hand car with your mobility entitlement. l think you may be more successful. that way it takes the stress of insuring that vehicle off the garage, and onto you as you will be the owner of the car.personally l'd take my test first, in case you have trouble passing your test.is it worth paying all that money out to get a car where you will be relying on either somebody sitting next to you all the time, or pinning your hopes on passing your test first time. use the mobility money for additional lessons and worry about a vehicle once you have got your licence
