Motegi MotoGP: Casey Stoner produced an overwhelming victory
The Australian ace rider Casey Stoner brushed his entire rivals away and won the Japan Grand Prix on Sunday been held at Motegi. The victory in Japan Grand Prix is Stoner’s second MotoGP victory of the season.
The Australian showed his remarkable grip over his ride and outclassed his veteran opponents from the start till the end of the racing track. Stoner started the race from the third on the grid by quickly defeating the pole position holder Andrea Dovizioso
and world champ Velentino Rossi and snatched the lead over the track. Whereas the championship leader Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo seemed a title slow and failed to give a strong challenge to the Australian star Casey Stoner.
Stoner took the lead from the start in the twenty fourth lap race. The twenty four year old rider finished the race in forty three minutes. Dozvizioso finished second, who was followed by the veteran reigning champ rider Velentino Rossi. The Spaniard Jorge
Lorenzo finished the race by clutching the fourth spot. The recent victory in the Japan Grand Prix is very special and dear to the Australian, as he has now able to snatch the 8th spot of all time winners list of MotoGP. It is also to be notified that the
recent victory was Stoner’s twenty second victory of his professional racing career.
The track of Motegi is not one of Stoner’s favourite tracks to race on as he was not expecting such a tremendous victory in Japan Grand Prix and the success has given him much more confidence and inspiration for the upcoming races. Stoner admitted the fact
that he was not very confident of winning the race but the success has given him a new power and boost.
Casey said the previous week has been really very tough for all the riders as the season is about to finish and every rider has been trying his luck hard to grab every opportunity of success. While talking about the race the twenty four year old rider expressed
his thoughts and said that the race was a tough challenge but he managed to settle some remarkable lap times. He added that Andrea Dovizioso gave him a very strong challenge and he had to give his full to keep the situation under control.
The Motegi racing track is considered as one of the toughest racing tracks in MotoGP. While talking about the fact the twenty four year old Australian rider said that the victory is really unexpected and overwhelming for him, as he was not very positive
about winning in the Japan Grand Prix. He added that no one was expecting such a brilliant effort from them and it feels great to win the race in a marvellous way.
Andrea Dovizioso has just started his MotoGP career and the pole position of the race was his first pole position in the MotoGP career. Finishing a race on the second spot is no doubt a vivid proof of Dovizioso’s brilliance. When he was asked about his performance,
the twenty four year old Italian said that he is very satisfied with his performance and he is very happy to get a podium. He added that Casey is a great rider as he tried to give his best but still failed to beat Casey over the racing track. Later the Italian
added that finishing second is not bad at all and he is content that his team is happy with his performance.
On the other hand, the dynamic duo of Yamaha racing team Velentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo enjoyed the best partnership as well. The pair fought really well and finished the race side by side. In the end, Rossi managed to finish the race on third, whereas
his Spanish team mate Lorenzo finished on the fourth position.
