Motel Question?????

If you put a reservation on a motel room and you use your credit card to make sure they keep the room but they don't charge the card, IF a person who was with you decides they want the room and they call the Motel and tell them to put the room in their name will the Motel do that without the permission of the person who got the room?

No, the person who provided the credit card has the upper hand in this issue.  No one can change reservations without your authorization.

No you will have to cancel your reservation and they will have to get their own reservation.
