Mother/Daughter Halloween Costume

What are some ideas of adult and baby costumes that can go together? Kinda like a couples theme..lol. (her dad refuses to dress up, lol) I was thinking Snow White/Dwarf (she looks a little like dopey <3), Dorothy/Toto, Alice/Rabbit, Bo Peep/Lamb. My daughter will be about 10 months old. and I dont really want to hear people say "oh what a cute little boy" or "how old is he?" ..along those lines. I want something people will be able to tell that shes a girl..lol. I'm thinking it'll probably be cold so I want something nice and warm/comfortable/cute for her. I was thinking maybe something a little s**y for me? I always loved to dress up for Halloween then people started with the "arent you to old for that?" (Im only 22) and now I have an excuse again! lol I thought about being a pirate, but cant think what could go with that. ...so gimme some ideas! =)

  1. I like to dress up on halloween also, and I think that it's a good idea to dress up as something with your daughter. Here are some ideas:

Curious George and the man with the yellow hat (it doesn't exactly scream out "its a girl!" but its still cute)

s****. Doo and Daphne or Velma (again, not so feminine, but still cute)

I don't know iif you would ever watch Blues Clues, but your daughter could be magenta the dog and you could be Steve

Maybe she could be an M&M or a Hersheys Kiss and you could be a chocolate Bar or some other candy

Maybe she could be a flying monkey from the Wizard of Oz and you could be the Wicked Witch of the West

She could be an angel and you could be the devil

I don't know, just be creative, and have fun. Good Luck!

  2. here are some links below. The idea of a vampire and a bat definitely is a neat idea. The baby costume is really cool. The vampire costume is cool as well but you might want to add a black cape, and of course, the fangs.

  3. I had a lady friend who dressed up as Mary Poppins. Her husband dressed up as Bert, and they dressed their daughter up as one of the dancing penguins from the Disney movie. You might also consider Marge and Lisa Simpson.

  4. My niece and I once went as auntie and baby witch, we both dressed as the same thing and everyone got a kick out of it. You can do that too, but I like your idea of complementing each other's costume.

You can do cheerleaders, or a player and a cheerleader.

    Queen and Princess

    OB Doctor and Special Delivery

    Wilma and Pebbles

    Smurfette and baby Smurf

Little Mermaid (Ariel) and baby Mermaid

    Jester and Clown

    Doctor and Nurse

    Vet and Kitten/puppy, etc

    Elmo and Zoe

    Chef and Baker

    Dancer and Singer

Ballet Dancer and Tap Dancer, etc

    Grandma and Granddaughter

Beauty contestants, each be a different state

    Model and photographer

    Painter and Subject

    Bride and Flower Girl

Bridesmaid and Flower Girl (you can even dress up the stroller for that one)

    Hippie and Flower Child

This is all I can think of, but I hope it helps. I hope you and your daughter have a fun and safe time on Halloween!
