Mother Nature for Obama '08???

Question

Today I'm in the car listening to the radio and discovering that tomorrow's prime time coverage has been cancelled from the Repug convention due to hurricane Gustav. And then for Tuesday thru Thursday they will be playing it day by day.

The DNC was a smashing success and the Repugs are going to need theirs to bounce back. This hurricane is going to cripple their ability to do so.

Now Mother Nature is getting involved in this election, it must be betting serious...

So is this some sort of Gaia Theory occurence where the planet is doing it's part to antagonize the political success of the Grand Oil Party?
