  1. Wow, I don't know what to tell you. But here it is...For me my mom didn't even let me go to school as a child (only home/no school) so I had no record of studies. We had no money and I didn't know about fafsa. I waited until I was 21 and fixed my life and now I am finished with my AA and heading for my BA at UH. don't get discouraged just keep trying.

  2. Yes, you can get a job.

Yes, you can go to community college.

  3. Anyone can get a student federal student loan regardless of their credit history (or lack of it) and parents income makes no difference... really.

Why exactly can't you get a job?  Many students will work part time and go to school part time so they can "Pay as they go".  One class at a community college won't be terribly expensive.

"fake high income taxes" doesn't make any sense..

Just take the tax forms she gives you and do your fafsa with them.  No matter what her income is, you will get approved to get a student loan regardless of her income.

  4. Try:

    1) www.FastWeb.com (GREAT site!)

    2) www.AmericanLibertyScholarship.com

    3) www.FindTuition.com/Scholarships

    4) www.students.gov

    5) www.scholarships.com/Resources.aspx

Also, some colleges have a work/study program where your earnings (at a college supplied job) are applied directly to your tuition.  I believe you do get some pocket money each pay period (not sure).

    Good luck!!!

  5. Since you are in Florida, do you qualify for Florida Bright Futures? The medallion scholars receive 75% tuition at state universities or 100% tuition at community colleges.

  6. what you need to do is fill out your fafsa.  then, you will be able to get an Unsubsidized Stafford Loan at the very least.  This is a way that you can borrow money even though your mom has no credit.  It's a federal loan.  You will be charged interest on this loan since it's unsubsidized, I'm pretty sure the interest is fixed at 6.8 percent.

This will help you pay for school, and while you are at school you should get a job and pay off the interest as it accumulates.

  7. apply for scholarship or get a job
