  1. that is very common. It is just that your muscle is not strong anymore. If you keep trying you will strengthen it. Kegal exercises will help to tighten that muscle again too

  2. I know you said mothers, and Im sorry for answering, but I thought you could use my advice.

I havent had any children and I am still only a teenager but I can not stop during "mid stream" either, and I never have been able to. I always thought that no one could.

Sorry for answering seeing Im not a mom.

    But I tried.

  3. Wow, it's been a while since you had your daughter. your body should gotten back to normal by now. I would suggest doing kegel exercises everyday (you know tighten and release down there ten times a day) like they told you to do when you were pregnant. That will strengthen the muscle down there. You may have to talk to your OB/Gyn though it could be something else going on since it's been that long.

  4. yup Kegels are the best thing that can help! I started doing them the day after both of my daughters were born, and it's really super easy to do, and no one can really tell you are doing them.

What I did, is when I would be watching TV, during the commercial break I would start them. You just use those muscles "down there" as if you were stopping the flow of urine, and then release. Try to hold your muscle a good 5-10 seconds, then release. Then I would keep doing it for the rest of the commercial break, and then kept on doing it for the rest of them. I probably did over 300 a day. They are so much more simplier than sit ups. but it strengthens the muscles in side. And plus my boyfriend, gave me the ultimate compliment, he couldn't even tell I had a baby after the 6 weeks of the no s*x zone! So I guess it got me back to "before baby" condition!!! Hope this helps!

  5. it is probably your kegel muscles but sometimes if your bladder is not fully empty when you push at delivery you can end up with a sway bladder which means that there is a part of your bladder that is 'folded' and hard to empty and the dr can recomend several ways to improve this with excercises and maybe a simple sugery

  6. Its your Kegel muscles... look it up and practice strengthening them again... its due to pelvic floor damage from pushing the baby out...

    Good luck

  7. Childbirth does change the actual strength of the v****a. You can do Kegals to tighten things up but they won't really help. Your best bet is to make a gyno appt and have the surgery done.
