  1. buy coffe cups and let the children decorated with a message written on the back with your help :)

  2. Last year my son's class did a neat project.  They traced their hands on colored tissue paper, and then "scrunched" them and put them on floral wire to make flowers for us, in a little vase they finger painted themselves.  They actually turned out great, and mine is still on my shelf in the kitchen.

Another one he did for father's day, the teacher glued a picture of each kid on the side of the tiny flower pots (the 3" high ones), let the kids put finger prints on, and filled them with rice to make pencil holders.

  3. bake mom some cookies!

read them some short poems/quotes and let them choose which on the like. have them write it out on paper and stick it in a picture frame(doller store)

  4. Make macaroni picture frames

seriously it sounds really lame, but they are fun for the kids and the mom's will get a kick out of it.

  5. have them make cards or you can go to a hobby shop and get all kinds of beads and string and have them make necklaces

  6. I am an English and Pre-school teacher but I had the kids make their mother's face on a paper plate, and they decorated the paper plates with flowers made from tissue-paper, and the tissue paper flowers are easy to make, just cut the tissue paper into one to one and a half inch strips, have the kids crinkle the tissue paper strips (like you are making messy wrinkley pleats, they don't have to be neat) and glue them in a circle around the paper plates, and also cut out leaf shapes to make the tissue paper look more like flowers. It might be hard for some kids but my kids were pretty good at doing it. After they are done with their plates, you can help the kids write "Happy Mother's Day!" or "I love you mommy!" or whatever and punch two holes on top of the plates and put yarn or nice string to make a handle. The mothers loved seeing how nice (or funny!) their children's drawing of themselves looked. It gave all of the mother's a laugh. And I am sorry if you didn't understand how to make the tissue paper flowers, I am bad at explaining things! :P

  7. if you are allowed at your school, take a photo of each of the children's faces. you can sometimes buy really cheap shaped boxes in bulk too at stores such as red dot. attach the pic to the lid and then put something like a 'pet rock' decorated by the kids inside with a note saying something like 'i love you mummy. my little ____ will keep u company while im away' the blank is for whatever animal the child choses the rock to be.

  8. Have them bake mommie cookies in the school cafeteria if it is allowed or have them design something edible that their moms can actually take a bite off. They sell pretty big cookies at any local supermarket or Like cup cakes or something that would allow them to be creative. Not only will they have fun making these goodies but so will their mom when they get to eat it. Unless the kids eat them on their way home. lol GOOD LUCK MISS!

  9. How about making mom a dessert or fancy card or if u go online look for tissue paper flowers there always fun with little ones

  10. buy 1000 dollar perfumes for each and everyone of their moms. and if they dnt have a mom, buy one for their dad. thank u.

  11. buy some candles and have them make their moms hand made card or buy them from the store. hope this helps because my 4th grade teacher did the same thing.

  12. in a small piece of wood paste 2 or 3 cinamon rols and with painted rice make the leavesand behind write a message for mom (vote for best) answer)
