  1. Coupon Books are great.  Get creative about the things the coupons will be for.  Like 15 minute back rub.  Doing stuff you normally don't do as a chore.  A certain number of hugs per day.  Stuff like that.

  2. Go to www.enchantedlearning.com and look under crafts..

  3. maybe flatten some flowers and stick them onto paper and make a bookmark.

Try getting an old small vase and paper mashe' (I cant spell it! It's pronounced mash-ay) it then paint it.

  4. For mothers day i always turn to baking or beading.  Bake her a birthday cake, or make her a pretty bracelet. or both! stick to the B's! hope that helps! xoxo

  5. i would just ask your dad to help get some atr supplies, u could make her a card, or decorate a flower pot with diff paints and designs, add a flower.. skys the limit.. {the flower pot was one of my favs, my son gave my that one last yr..}

make flowers outta construction paper, cot them out, and make a makeshift boquet..

    hope it helps.

  6. 1. http://familyfun.go.com/arts-and-crafts/

    2. make a book of "why my mom is special to me", or "what i love about my mom".

    3. make a book of poems about her and mom, or just about mom.

    4. fleece or pretty material throw pillow without sewing:

cut 2 15"x15" square inch of pretty material

then cut the edges about 2-3" long all the way around

lay both materials on top of each other and start tying

one at a time from each material.

leave one side open and stuff it with cottons, then continue

tying double knots until it's closed. then decorate it and

write "world's best mom" on top.

    kind of like these...

  8. I am a great one for what we call  "Trash Craft". One of our popular gifts we made on Mom's day was with paper plates, yarn, and glue.

    INSTRUCTIONS:

1- Cut one paper plate in half.

2- Punch holes with a single hole punch evenly around both paper plates.

3- String the two plates together by weaving the yarn in and out the holes.

4- Tie off the yarn at the top of the plates, and make loop.

5-  Print out the word COUPONS with glue.

6- Lay yarn on the glue so the word is written in yarn.

Ola! Mom has a coupon storage to hang on her kitchen wall. This can be done with attractive printed paper plates, or plain white paper plates with sticker designs, or art work with crayon. One little girl took lace we had in the craft room and put a lace boarder around the storage plate. There is a lot you can do when you put your imagination to work. One little boy didn't want to yarn print the word COUPONS, instead he used glitter which looked very nice too.

  9. Group all her favorite photos. Make your mom laugh and reminisce her glorious days during Mother's Day through a photo collage. It's also an excellent project for kids. You can choose to come up with your own theme. Perhaps you want to focus on her early childhood days (surely Grandma still has her pictures), her times with your dad, or, most of all, your bonding moments together. When you are already satisfied with what you have done, you can then print your photo collage in a color printer using an A4, short, or long bond paper.
