  1. don't worry or get upset, i remember wetting the bed at 16, i dreamt i was on the loo, but i wasn't... so long as the bedding comes off quick and open windows to let mattress dry, the bicarb is good idea too!!

might be a good idea to tell one or both parents as sometimes if your really worried or anxious this can happen, they can help reasurre you it's no big thing and nothing to worry about!!

  2. Strip the bedding off and if you can wash it, the sheets and mattress cover at least. The comforter may need to be dry cleaned. Take a box of baking soda spread on the wet area to absorb the wetness and odor. Later today after the baking soda drys brush it off (broom and dust pan) and vacuum the mattress.

  3. maybe your not feeling well, just relax, cause it could be stress, and just clean up after yourself.

  4. First of all, calm down!! I know this is embarrassing to you. But I can tell you, that as long as it is not an every night thing there is nothing to worry about. You can strip your bed down and wash everything, so there won't be an odor. You can spray your mattress w/ Febreeze or something if you have any. As an adult (& mother) myself, there have been a few times, I've been half awake/half dreaming or even all the way dreaming that I had actually gotten up and went to the bathroom and I peed on myself. That's probably what happened so once again, there is nothing to worry or be ashamed about. You're perfectly normal!!

  5. My daughter did this until around your age. She had a very small kidney and poor muscle control. She did eventually grow out of it. Odds are, you will, too. Reduce you liquid intake for the couple hours before you go to sleep. If you are stressed, see about using chammomile tea, very relaxing. If you still worry about it, talk to your mother, a counselor at school or when you go see a doctor. There is help for it. Relax, dear. It does not mean you are weird or anything.
