  1. Arthur...sometimes I think I love it more lol

  2. Geez...someone on here is a real children's programming critic :)  We love Sesame Street....me, because it's a throwback to my childhood, and my daughter because she loves the "dumbed-down" language of Elmo's World.  To each his own, I guess!

  3. My daughter will only watch Elmo, he is her favorite, so we watch Sesame Street and wait for the small segment of Elmo's World to come on and then she is done with it!  But I think "Word World" is a cute program, I wish my daughter liked to watch that!

  4. PBS is ok, but there is a cable chanel called PBS Sprout which is on 24/7.  My children likes to watch Dragon Tales, Sagwa, Thomas, everything.  This channel also have a time for yoga, crafting, etc.  Children learn something new everyday.

  5. My daughter likes Word World, Caillou, and watching Elmo on Sesame Street.  Lately, her favorite has been Mr. Roger's Neighborhood which I find hilarious.  I have no clue why she likes him so much.  I had to DVR Mr. Rogers so she could watch him whenever she wanted.

  6. We like Super Why, Reading Rainbow and our all-time favorite, Between the Lions. Between the Lions has to be the best show on PBS right now. The older kids like Zoom, but it's not on our station any more. And we all still miss George Shrinks.

My kids also like Clifford and Curious George, but those are pure entertainment and not at all educational, so I limit that.

Can't STAND Arthur -- he's neurotic and DW is argumentative and whiny.

Can't STAND Elmo -- all that baby talk and "dumbed down" garbage.

Can't STAND Caillou -- Also whiny and does anybody ever tell that kid "no" or teach him about personal responsibility?

  7. CURIOUS GEORGE, Thomas, Caillou and Sesame Street

  8. Word World ...very cute show, and educational as well ...you don't find that much in children's shows nowadays
