The last known sighting of the Mothman that I am aware of was September 17th In Maine USA. He is said to target young couples by flying directly into their path whilst they are in a moving vehicle or directly into windows in a house which has large stringy bark trees close to it. He is supposed to resemble an oversized bat and be dark brown in colour.

Mothman was a creature that was sighted in 1966 and 1967 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. The movie "The Mothman Prophecies" is very loosely based on the actual story. Here is the story:

mothman isn't just one guy it's a creature with the body of a human but the head of a moth instead of a human and instead of arms he has wings and only come out at night.
