Motivate me. Why should I write and post an article on finding hyperbolic transfer orbits?

I've done elliptical transfer orbit calculations already.

There's little call for direct hyperbolic transfers, as they are so expensive in rocket fuel to make those huge delta-vees.So why should I work out how to do them? Just to be complete? I haven't seen anyone else doing this and putting the procedure online. Might there be a reason?

Should I do parabolic and plunge transfer orbits too, even though they are special cases?

Im writing you to tell you that i took the time to read and understand what you were trying to get to ill let you know im not educated however i have spent a life time reading and learning alot of imformation including science ,math,astromy physics and i have done this on my own . my family tells me they dont know what ill ever use all my knowlege on however they say i am very smart .most everything i cant understand i know how to get the answers to by going to our local college and local companys or high school teachers and even the internet. i would tell you keep teaching this because there are people out there will pick up on your work and will try to advance it thats how our wourd works, i myself could only understand a fraction of thishowever i never studied it. im going to save this and look into it alittle more and see if anyone can explain all of it so see your like a teacher spreading your knowlege. now if i could only take the time to learn proper gramer and spelling lol srry im to busy trying to feed my brain with other things lol

Consider that just because something isn't viable today doesn't mean the work itself is not valuable.

Not only for yourself, but for others that follow - work you do may motivate someone else to pursue an avenue of research that may be extremely important to humanity.

Everything we do that we make available to others affects them, even if its just in small ways.

And the Type A in me says that you should do them all, to be complete and thorough.

I say do as you please, your the one doing the math so your the only one who should make the choice in the end.
