The Zebre chief believes the Gialloblu play especially well against the Bianconeri side; insists the team are passing through a tough phase in the season.
Francesco Guidolin has envisaged a tough encounter for his team in the upcoming match against his former club Parma, and insists that motivation will tip the balance in what he believes will be a closely contested game.
The Zebrette’s exceptional run in the season is coming to a halt, and the side has been suffering from a bad run of form lately. The Bianconeri have collected just three points from the last five games, and are also looking for their first win in over a
month.
The Little Zebras are currently in the hunt for the last UEFA Champion’s League spot along with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603. Although the team is just three points away from the third place, the manager believes the week 31 will be a gruesome affair for the
team.
The former Parma manager insisted that the team is at a stage where the points have started to dry up for them, and the team is experiencing a decline in their form. The Zebrette chief insisted that Parma are in better position as they have triumphed in
the last three head-to-head games, and insisted that absolute focus will be required of the team in order to overcome the grave challenge.
While talking to the press, the former Genoa manager said:
“But, I believe that this game is better for Parma, who have beaten us three times from the last three played, when we meet this weekend. We’re thinking one opponent at this time, as we always have. I believe it is necessary to fix our attention and concentration
on the game tomorrow that will be very difficult for us.”
The coach stated that he has good memories of his stint at Parma, and believes it is natural for the former players to try and perform better in front of a former coach.
Guidolin insisted that Parma’s ranking in the league is yet to be decided, the match is going to be crunch battle, and victory will be owned by the most motivated side in the game.
