Motives behind 9/11?

Question

Did 9/11 happen because Arabs "hate our freedoms" as George Bush said or because US made missiles were/are slamming into Palestinian villages and Lebanese ambulances, hospitals and schools?

I heard something on a tv. about how there was gold under one of the Twin Towers, and that President Bush was behind it all, and be-friended the so called terrorist then after 9-11 the discovered the gold had been moved..

Which was a motive for everyone, I guess?

Us american people don't know about a lot of stuff that the gov't does behind scenes. I mean it's not necessarily our fault(media is partially to blame) but we lack knowledge in foreign affairs.Most americans don't even know that osma bin laden was trained and educated by the american gov't. So anyone who thinks america was attacked solely because they "hate our freedoms" is very ignorant to whats going on behind the scenes.

Meagan.k ; are you like 9 years old? the twin towers we NOT the only planes taken down. I hate that thats what people seem to think! and, they only think about that! what about the pentagon and the plane that went down in PA?

There are several layers of motives and reasons behind it, and they really have nothing to do with the Arabs.

It's not about hating our freedoms or being jealous; if they wanted to be like us, they would embrace our culture and want to be more like us, not attack us.
