Made me think about the good/great riders we get from japan, tamada, nakano, aoyama brothers, also haga there was abe and youchi uhi who I expected great things from. so im thinking is there anywhere I can watch japanese racing like I do with AMA superbikes in america. somewhere to spot new talent from japan.

  1. The Japanese home championship is great, but I have no idea how to watch the full races here in the UK.

How great it would have been to see Katosan kicking butt on the NSR 250 before his GP time !

  2. Morning proc,

They certainly do produce some great riders - and machines, and since their first appearance at the TT in the early 60's have gone on to (almost) dominate the sport.

When the 8 hour from Suzuka was on we posted questions here to look for sites and the best was this guy (check out the webbie's profile):

Who at least translates the bulletins into English and also did hourly updates and live timing. As for free coverage - let us know if you find any please - Yahoo does a pay per view but don't know of any others offhand.

It's gonna be crazy in Tokyo, they're taking the top 9 riders and 5 bikes into the big square by the train station for press/ P.R. a couple of days before the race - can you imagine the crush if 3 million people use the trains daily, then add in the rabid bike fans? Mad?
