Moto GP question. Ref Practice starts?

Why have they stopped the GP riders doing practice starts after the chequered flag in the qualifying session ?

I cant see the point to this decision !

Remember when Shobert nailed Mcgee at the end of the USGP? That was a burnout not a start, but if you are relaxing on a cool down/in lap perhaps they were worried about a repeat of someone dead stopped on the track.

I can't see any point in this. However, since it specifically states "qualifying" practice and not "free" practice maybe FIM are worried about someone getting baulked on a hot qualifying lap.

Hi Proc ,yeh ive just read it ,honestly cant see why they have done that its all rules lately,or has something happened that we didnt see at one of the GPs ,who know maybe we may get an answer from Julian or Toby on sunday
