Moto Q Phone--Windows Media Player?

Question

I bought a moto q off ebay and it works perfectly... but i was wondering how i can get music onto the phone onto media player... i have a cable but after that i have no clue

Okay when you plug the usb in a window pops up and you can open your folders by scrolling down (usually at the bottom). Now when you open this folder you can get any media file and left click on it and hold the click. Now drag it to the folder (don't let go of click) and by magic it is inside the folder.
