does anyone think Stoner can do it again this year

45 points behind and 10 races to go. this race at Assen brings us to the half way point. Yes I think he can win the championship

But so can Rossi, Pedrossa and even Lorenzo there 250 points still up for grabs. a couple of DNF's from anyone could open the championship even wider.

This is a great season and nothing is decided yet. The Ducati looks quick again as does the Honda. but you have Rossi and Lorenzo riding Yamahas.

Damp Qualifying today could make saturdays race interesting to say the least. But the bridgestones do go well in the wet. Stoner is going to take some catching.

He is determined as ever and he is showing that he is the only man able to tame that beast of a Ducati. All the other riders on the machine are showing this.

As for the Assen Race one factory Ducati at the front and the other at the very rear like a couple of book ends.

Rossi though still has a chance of taking the title back. His performance at Assen proved that. He was the only one matching Stoner's speed at the end of the race and that was after a crash. If he was at the front he would have been challenging for the lead.

As for the poisoned dwarf, I hope that he doesn't get the title, it may cheer him up but I hope that he doesn't get it.

I agree with some people that are saying that Hayden should have a go on the Duke as it may suit his style of riding. It would be interesting.

Stoner has a chance, although I'm pulling for Rossi, and I think he'll snag the championship. For Assen I say Rossi, Stoner, Pedrosa.

Stoner can definitely win the championship, but right now Rossi looks so good that I could not bet against him.
