  1. Chris goes well at Laguna, Dovi is still learning, although an early 8th place is very good.

Ben will be my number 1 bet ( out of these 3 ).

He pre-lim place of 11th is very impressive. He is still learning the bike and the tyres.

If you look at British born Jamie Hacking, in 18th, it shows how well Ben has taken to the bike. [ granted he has a race & a test session under his belt ]

    P.S : Good bye Ant West ......................http://www.motogp.com/en/Results+Statist...

  2. How wrong this guess will be time will tell!

    Vermulen 3rd

    Dovizioso 5th

    Spies 9th.

  3. Hi Proc

If you look at race pace, it mus go Casey, Vale & Chris, probably in that order.

The problem for me as far as the tipping competition goes is who to put as the place getter? My head says Vale, my heart says Chris (I've been tipping that underachiever for years!).

I think I'm gonna go with my heart.

Edit: Just re-read the question and realised I've answerd it totally wrong.......so the real answer is...........out of those 3. Vermeulen, Dovi & Spies.

Having said that, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that Spies can beat Dovi. Michelin seem to have made a complete **** of choosig what compounds to bring, and it looks like all their runners might struggle.

  4. Cris.

    He always does good.

But this is Ben's track. But I think Cris will do better.

  5. No doubt Spies will have been getting his practice in so i would go for Spies,Dovi, Vermuelen

  6. Hey Proc. I would like seeing Dovi doing good. He has great potential and I think he will be the fastest one of those three. As for Vermullen, I'm not one of his biggest fans but still I would like it if his bike was going faster. Spies has to know this track and  because of this I thing, he has a chance of doing amazingly great!

  7. nothing

because in my head there's only 1 name

    he is Dani Pedrosa,,,

    i don't know why

maybe because he is so unpredictable

    go dani!!

  8. I think the best bet would have to be Dovizioso for a podium, maybe Vermuelen as well, I seriously doubt Spies could do it, I think he will be lucky to get a top ten finish.

The winner will be Stoner without a doubt. And I have a strong feeling that rossi will bin it trying to catch him.

Vermuelen has always done well at Laguna, but I think Dovizioso is ready for a podium.Ben Spies isn't ready to run with them yet, as he hasn't the experience at this level of racing.Nicky Hayden and Colin Edwards also are in with a chance of a podium, although it is a slim chance...it's a pity about Pedrosa being out of the race as he could have been a good contender for second.

    1st Casey Stoner

    2nd Dovizioso

    3rd Vermuelen

  9. I gotta say...watching Dovi this year has been fun. He's is a charger who has a brilliant future in front of him. Speis has proven he can ride, he just hasn't seen this calibur of competition until now, and while he's won AMA's at Laguna, I think the talent pool will be his down fall, at least for now. Once he gets used to racing these guys...look out. Vermuelen is a great racer, has been for years, and Suzuki seems to be getting their machinery dialed in. I think yer right...odds are Verm, Dovi, Speis. My hearts with Speis, but I'm Italian...so I like Dovi too! It's been a great year so far...so as long as Stoner doesn't blast off and run pole to pole, it should be a good race.
