On the Motogp_dot_com site there is the new video telling us about the flood lights and also riders comments on the idea.

Is this good for the sport as in making the racing better, or is this just for fans? Just for the sake if it?

Hi Wiggy. Have not seen the video (too Poor) saw the write up. I am 2 minds over floodlighting. they have already done floodlight racing and the lighting is so good you cant tell its dark. whereas endurance racing with lights on bikes is hard to watch on TV. The temperature probably has a lot to do with the decision to go at night in the desert. I'M going to sit on the fence with this one.

I'm not so sure what to think about this one. I guess it is going to be fun and is going to make all those riders deserve their podiums. I would love to watch it live, because it will be more interesting but I guess it's gonna be so cold that I would prefer to stand in the rain at Donington Park :)

But I am sure that they are making this for the fans! You said it, Rossi is not happy and he is not the only one.
