MotoGP: Ducati Red, and Back on Track with the Doctor
It was only a "just pop" in November, but the year 2011 will be the big debut of Valentino Rossi riding the Desmosedici, becoming the official man for the team. This indeed is a complementing addition of the Ducati team, with which the Italian pilot will
try to make a new assault on the MotoGP world title.
Yamaha shall now have a bit of longing for the Doctor, who has collected wins in 7 seasons fundamental to the Japanese. Rossi currently prepares the long-awaited debut in the colours of the Ducati team, after the delicate surgery on battered right shoulder,
and shall be coming this week at Madonna di Campiglio.
Meanwhile, the backlash has already been felt. As soon as Valentino Rossi started 2011 with Ducati, many sponsors have decided to abandon the Yamaha team, leaving them currently finding little economic revenue for advertising.
According to rumours that run around, even the Japanese parent would be thinking of presenting at the first Grand Prix of Qatar, with bare bottoms only having corporate colours and logo.
"Maybe some will find it hard to start the season, but if they give you the time, Valentino is very good and will soon be able to become very competitive with the Ducati to get back to winning," the chief crew of Kawasaki Fiorenzo Fanali commented
in the past days. The much appreciated technical member to the MotoGP has a credit to have worked with the champion Max Biaggi, who also predicted Rossi as a strong title contender.

The appointment planned for the week ahead starting Tuesday morning, when there will be a press conference of the Doctor, with his colleague Nicky Hayden. Wednesday also he will be on track on the new Desmosedici, designed especially for him by the Ducati engineers.
Thursday Valentino will get to drive a Fiat Panda 4x4 on an icy path to the challenge from Ducati and Ferrari drivers at the Wroom festival. Rossi, currently not allowed taking part in the ski race for his damaged right shoulder, as Nicky Hayden shall represent
the team on the slopes on Friday.
