Well done to Jim Race from the fantastic R.O.2 Forums, for finding this :

http://hellforleathermagazine.com/2008/07/moriwaki-debuts-first-600gp-pr.html

This looks great, but saying that all Moriwaki bikes look great.

The full GP bikes wont run CBR or such engines, but still good to see the future.

You thoughts please race fans????

P.S if you dont know, the 250's are changing to 600cc four strokes very very soon. Not good news me thinks.

  1. Hi Wiggysan. I finally got the link to work. Yes it does look fine. they always do in the plain black livery. then go and spoil it with some daft sponsor like Mac king fried Chicken. Like the thing says they have not decided on the rules and regs yet. Im hoping it goes prototype not production. who needs another production 600 race. we would just be looking to see which series goes where and compare riders times. It was fun at laguna with the AMA but now we know.

this new format is a bit weird. and the writing is a bit small for my old glimmers. used to be able to ctrl &scroll. but it does nothing now.

Going to need a bigger screen I think

  2. yeah i think the various bike ccs could be a factor,i love watching anywhere from 126cc to 1100cc races...but the fact that 250 would change to 600cc could be less categories to watch..

  3. Had to happen.Whilst the 250s have been a mind consuming class for past ,its imperative that m/cycle racing evolves as the 250s have become somewhat stagnent . The 600s offer us all an exciting future and truly deserves a spot supporting motogp. So the 125s will hopefully be on the chopping block next , coz to bring back the 400s to take over this class will certainly pull in more revenue and interest for the bloke that holds the key to the safe at at motogp headquarters.

Wicked , just what we needed 400s,600s800s.

    Rock on motogp !!

    Keep the stikkisidedown

    Ya heard it here first.

  4. Ahh we all knew it was coming. And if it keeps even the smallest amount of money out of the greedy oil co's hands I am for it

  5. Cool looking bike, thanks for the early heads up.

  6. That bike looks killer. We all knew it was only a matter of time until the sweet sounds/smells of the 2 stroke would go by the wayside. It should be interesting; I'm just hoping all the small OEM's can handle the change.
