MotoGP: Lorenzo topping the list of world champions after winning the US Grand Prix
Super Bike racing is getting fast and furious these days. After the world champ legend Velentino Rossi, it was assumed that no one has the capability of achieving that much success in the world of racing. Jorge Lorenzo a super biker from Spain is showing all of his capabilities and talent by thrashing the opponents on the fast tracks of super bike racing.
It is not wrong to say that Jorge Lorenzo has all the talent to set an indelible mark on the records of best and fastest bikers of the world. After winning the US Grand Prix, he has conveyed his message to the world and to his legendry team mate Veletino Rossi as well that he is able to compete at any level and against any opponent. The young 23 year old super star rider gained his position against his arch rival Dani Pedrosa of Spain. Pedrosa making an error at the fifth turn of the track made a paved way for Lorenzo’s Yamaha to the victory. Dani Pedrosa’s crash also let the Australian rider, Casey Stoner to achieve second and the Italian star Velentino Rossi third position.
The victory in the US grand prix was Lorenzo’s fourth victory from his last five furious races against his vital arch rival Dani Pedrosa. Pedrosa the winner of German Grand prix faced some bad luck which gave advantage to his Spanish rival but he has all the talent and capacity to get back to the racing track even stronger. Despite of losing the race, he is still considered as the strongest and most favourite contestant.
In the beginning, Dani Pedrosa was leading the race but his crash let Lorenzo to lead the race till the end. Before the crash, the race was full of fire and competition as both the Spaniards were trying hard to take the lead over one another. Super bike racing requires full attention and dedication while racing because it is fast, it is breath taking and it needs complete effort to control the lead and this is how Dani Pedrosa’s tiny error made Lorenzo the winner of the event.
Later after winning the race, Lorenzo expressed his views in complete satisfaction and excitement and admired the efforts of Pedrosa. He said it was tough racing against his Spanish rival and he enjoyed each and every bit of it. He added that Dani is a fantastic racer and racing against him has never been easy, he seemed totally uncatchable but in the end, got lucky and made his way to the title.
On the other hand the defending champion Velentino Rossi also had a great day in the race. Rossi finished the race third and proved his strong existence in the race. He is feeling strong and confident because of his amazing return to the racing circuit. Clutching the third position in a major race after a serious injury is not an easy task but the former world champion has showed all his skills manly and furiously. The Italian champ Rossi expressed his happiness to the media and said that despite of having pain in his body, as he is still in the state of recovering from the injury, this result is refreshing and according to his hopes. Later, he added that he is very happy and thankful to all the people who have helped him to get back to the racing track.
The second spot holder Casey Stoner expressed signs of satisfaction as well, said his Ducati team is happy, and satisfied with the result as second position proves our strong commitment and passion for the race.
Currently Jorge Lorenzo of Spain is topping the list of world championship standings with 210 points. His veteran rival from Spain Dani Pedrosa is at the second spot with 138 points. Andrea Dovizioso from Italy is at the third spot followed by Casey Stoner on the 4th and former world star Velentino Rossi is currently at the fifth rank.
