MotoGP: Rossi is back with a bang, Lorenzo in the lead
The world of racing is again at fire as the world champ and the world’s fastest rider Velentino Rossi is back to the racing circuit. The injured world super star racer Rossi is back after 46 days of rest due to broken leg but he is back with a bang, as the world was expecting from him. Rossi has suffered and worked hard to recover from his injury. He has spent hours and hours of hard work in the gym and swimming pool to regain his physical and mental fitness.
In Germany at Sachsen ring, Rossi came back strong and finished his race at the fourth spot. This remarkable return of the Italian world champion, in the MotoGP world made him even more confident to fight for his championship and take it back as soon as possible. The fans are surprisingly happy to see their racing hero back to the racing circuit. On one side, the return of Rossi to the racing track is news to cherish for the Yamaha team but on the other side, it is the time for a sign of discouragement for the Japan’s super star biker Wataru Yoshikawa, as he was a replacement for the champ Velentino Rossi. The 41 years old Japanese biker has a very good record of racing and has won the Japan’s super bike championship twice. Wataru is currently also serving as a test driver for Yamaha and he was considered as the best replacement of Velentino Rossi. With the return of Rossi to the racing track, it seems that his chances of racing for Yamaha in the Moto GP might fade.
Coming back to the race of German Moto Grand prix it seems that Rossi is not far away from leading the racing tracks again. Rossi who is still unable to walk properly rode the bike like never before. He finished his race endings at the fourth mark after the former world champion racer from Australia Casey Stoner of Ducati team. The race was won by the Spanish ace biker Dani Pedrosa, who was followed by his countryman 23 year old young and dynamic Jorge Lorenzo, who is currently leading the Grand Prix world. At one stage, the race was stopped because three bikes clashed with each other, which resulted in the injury of a French rider Randy de Puniet. He was seriously hurt and suffered a double leg fracture. Later the race was shortened to 21 laps, which proved to be a good sign for the Spaniard Pedrosa to win the race for the second time and to gain the lead over Jorge Lorenzo.
After the Race, the Italian champ expressed his feelings of happiness and satisfaction and told the media that he was racing for his personal satisfaction. He added that it was easier for him to control the bike with a broken leg and he felt no problem during the race. Rossi expressed his glooms by saying that he thoroughly enjoyed his ride, as he was not focusing over the championship. He was there to enjoy the ride and it was good for him from a psychological point of view. He is now feeling fresh and lot more comfortable. On the other hand, the former world number one, the Australian ace rider Casey Stoner stated that he enjoyed battling with Rossi, as he is his strongest opponent. He added that at one point, Rossi was getting near him but he kept his focus and gained the lead over Rossi in the race which is a good reason of satisfaction for him.
Currently Lorenzo is leading the table of the top racers with 185 points, who is 47 points ahead of his countryman Dani Pedrosa and the Italian ace biker Velentino Rossi is standing at the sixth position with 74 points.
