I think that might have something to do with the rumor that Vale will be the only Yamaha rider on Bridgestones next year. Lorenzo had been promised identical equipment, and it was during a press conference that the question was asked, and it was the first time Lorenzo had heard it! If its true, sparks are gonna fly!

But its something else thats going to create more interest, although I also think that if it is true, and we don't get the one make tyre rule (which thankfully looks to be the case now), Vale might live to regret it. Michelin have vast resources and I'm sure will be fully competitive next year. They're almost back now.

Because tyres can make a big difference. If Vale has got it wrong and Michelin sort their act out, he may see his team mate regularly beat him. At least on the same tyres he would have had the advantage of experience.
