MotoGP question?

Question

Yeah today I saw a MotoGP race on speed channel, this was the first time ive seen it. I actually liked watching it, it was exciting and high-speed. My question is, I want to get into the whole MotoGP scene, who are the best riders? Also who are some American riders, and are they any good?

I like Pedrosa so far because he rides for honda, and I love honda. Help me out you MotoGP fans! :D

Top 4 riders this season are Pedrosa, Lorenzo, Rossi and Stoner. Lorenzo riding with a fractured ankle and its looking unlikely that he will be racing at Le Mans on the 18th May. Rossi is regarded as many to be the greatest of all time as he has won 7 world championship titles.

American riders are - Nicky Hayden (Repsol Honda) and Colin Edwards (Tech 3 Yamaha)
