MotoGP questions? Look no further !!?

MotoGP class : For pole in the morning, top 8, only 2 Bridgestone.

I know Vale #46 had some tech problems but even so, Michelin have come all guns blazing for 2008....... like we all said they would!

So after a race and a bit, we can start to ask the question, did Rossi jump ship too early ?

It [ at this point ] looks like he might.

No words needed. Look at who is on pole !!!

Are we looking at the 2008 World Champ ? I think so.

If it was not for that damper working loose at Qatar, he would have won there as well.

Your thoughts, racing fans?

  1. Hi wiggysan

Thanks for the beer......I'm drinking it now as I watch the 125's line up on the grid.

I've thought right from the start that Vale made the wrong decision to jump ship from Michelin. But it's early and I'm willing to keep an open mind about it. Bare in mind that Jerez was a bit of a bogey track for Bridgestone last year. We'll have to wait and see how the season pans out.

I've still got Vale down for a podium in this race, but I've got Dani down for the win..............hmmmm, may regret that choice. Jorge is looking pretty impressive.

Lets just hope Bradleys bike stays in one piece, and he doesn't suffer the same curse as Passini.......Brilliant start from Bradders!!

  2. I agree, was really hoping that Rossi made a good decision - but then the Michelins were good at Jerez last year. Lorenzo (as much as I didnt like him in 250's) seems to have matured a bit coming into the premier class and he was excellent yeasterday in qualifying. Stoner and Rossi - well, you can never count them out - but like Dingo, I didnt have Stoner down for a podium either (well, I did until I changed it this morning lol)

Three brits in the top 10 in 125's! Excellent - go Bradders!! Just going to get ready to watch the 125's!!

  3. Morning Wiggy

I think Rossi knows the clock is ticking on his career and he was always going to do everything he thought would keep him on top, but there is no way a class firm like Michelin was going to take his defection lying down.

The talk is that the Bridgestone front end doesn't like the Jerez circuit and we'll see if that's the case in a few hours - but my god the Yammi's seem to like it there!

I'm getting the feeling it will be all Yammi/Honda today - and havn't even tipped Stoner for a podium. That could be a bad move!

  4. Haha, I don't care about motor racing.

  5. If brad wins wow i'll be happy, JT podium mega, i'll crack a tinny. Cant wait.

As for the doctor never write him off, still think he will win title.

As for tyres he should have stuck with michellin, on reflection he probalbly saw the switch as a challenge, win title 500...win 990, win honda win yamaha, win michellin... win err wait and see. bring it on
