Question:

Motocross Goggles?

I ride a green Kawasaki KX125, with green matching gear (pants, jersey and gloves).

My helmet is red with some blue, but my GOGGLES ARE CURRENTLY YELLOW.

I think this makes my look rather awful when on the bike to be honest, it isn't a nice shade of yellow either!

Basically I need a new pair anyway, so shall I buy some green ones (to match with bike and gear?) Does this seem to be "more professional" and "presentable"? Let us know, thanks!

  1. the in thing around where I live is not to match anything.

  2. When starting, always buy kits kit in Black / white & silver. That way you look cool on anything.

  3. Goggles are an item that is replaced quite regularly as they wear out quickly especially if you are riding in muddy conditions a lot.  So just purchase whatever colour you fancy as you will soon either need a new helmet or new pants and jersey and you can update to whatever colour you like.  Everyone looks the same when you are covered in mud so as long as the gear is doing it's job and protecting you  the colour really shouldn't matter.  And as long as you start the day looking nice and clean it should all be good.  Perhaps do what my son does and have a couple of pairs of goggles ready for race with tear offs in place (if you are allowed to use them).

Also have a look at the new Scott Reed Signature Goggles and they are really nice.

  4. Get new ones that match your bike and kit but also keep the othewr ones for spare and the plastic inside can be removed and used as a spare if the other one is damaged or cracked. I dont think it make you look profession al but i think you have to look part of the bike and show that you own it......

  5. keep your goggles and save for some trick parts, dont matter if you look good ,just get quicker.
