What kind of motocross bike would be best?

(if this has anything to do with it- im 5'5" tall, 126 lbs., 16 yrs old) I've been riding dirt bike for around 4 years. The most recent one was my cousin's Honda CRF250R. . I've never owned a dirt bike but am planning on getting one if all works out and we move back to the mountains where we used to live.

I'm wanting to know what kind of dirt bike or motocross bike would be best for me since im going to be doing alot of jumping and racing??

  1. both people gave you good advice, stay with a 250f.

  2. If you think you can manage and pick the crf250r up then that is a good bike to have for racing.  You could use starting blocks on the start line  so as to touch the ground on both sides as I think at 5'5 you will be going to do that.  The crf250r is a motocross bike.    You could also look at some of the other known brands of 4 stroke 250cc to see which you like best and I think the suzuki is just slightly smaller so that may be an option.

  3. Yeah what she said, but to add on to that, if you can't mannage to handle a crf250r or a yz250f,  then I would suggest a crf150R  its the only 4 stroke racing bike that is below a 250 that is made.   And I would definetly stick with 4 stroke racing bikes.
