Just get a cover for it, the same as the speedway riders use.

Keep your same helmet, and change the colour any time you like.

Even if you know what size you wear, unless it is the same brand you really should try it on before purchasing. Go to some of the local shops in your area and have a look through the catalogue that they have to see if they can order one that you like in and that way you can try it on for size as it is important that it fit correctly.

Other than that I do know some people who have had their helmets professionally painted by someone who specialises in it.  You would have to do some research to find out who does it, but that would give you another option

first off i would buy a good helment now, u know what im sayin,  ask yourself this how much is your head worth then buy the helment.  Other than that i would just search through different websites to find the color and such that you like.  I usually use motosport.com  which is very reliable.  Hope you get a good one
