  1. Put into search Motocross tips cornering and you will have heaps of sites come up with tips from top trainers telling you how to do it.

Keep in mind what sort of track you are riding on as cornering technique can differ depending upon track conditions.  In sand you don't really use your brakes but allow the berm to slow you down. So you do any braking before hitting the corner.

  2. Get some of Gary's videos. They are worth their weight in gold.

  3. turn the stearing wheels. idk sh*t about moto.

  4. its hard to explain in words your best bet is to either buy a copy of the ryan hughes training dvd or to book some lessons from a proffesional motocross coach

  5. Get your weight foward on the tank, elbows out and carry as much speed into the corner as you can. It all depends on the track and what kind of corner it is. Loamy, sand, mud rutted up, off camber, bermed, etc.

  6. Ever hear the saying, "practice makes perfict"?

  7. You can get some tips on how to be a beter rider, by enrolling in a motocross schoo, such as David Bailey's Dad.

  8. I raced motocross since earlier 70s and have met a lot of good riders. When you come into a corner, slide forward on the tank, stick your leg out and keep your *** in the same position while you move the bike under you. That way you have more control and if you hit a rock or something the bike will just lay down with you riding the side of the seat. Also. Always keep your elbows higher than the bars. If you watch guys like carmichael or stewart or any other pros you will see they always have their elbows up.
