  1. to have one built for you, it is expensive, something like 25 grand, best way to do it is rent or get to know someone with a tractor and sart building one yourself, but remember you have to get the jump angles right, or you will not fly far enough to clear the jump, or fly too far.

Building a motocross track is a science, full of angles, math and problems....

  2. rent or borrow the front loaders & bulldozers if you have buddies, otherwise renting is the only way... do you own the land? is it zoned away from city limits due noise restrictions? do your homework and that's yer best bet

  3. Well its hard to build a perfect MX track unless it will be indoors. If you have an outdoor track on private property, then it will last a lot longer because you won't have as many people trying to ride the track in adverse conditions. There's nothing more aggravating than hearing 2 - 125's ripping up your berms!

Renting equipment is a good option, but the tracks I have built always involved burying items, such as old fridges in your table top jump. Obviously buried door down. As long as you have a good layer of dirt on top, it will hold like a champ. I know of a few BMX tracks on the national circuit that have thing buried in them. Heck, even Dave Mira's home track had a car buried in a jump!

Whoops are best built by digging the hole and using that dirt for the whoop. Build about 8 or 9 in a row and you have the start of a good whoop section. Never bury things when you build them because they will need constant grooming. Good Luck with you new motorcross track and hope we have all helped you!
