Motocross riding?

i want to start motocross and need a good bike capable for racing and a good way to learn caan someone who knows alot about motocross help me!

The best advice I can give you is to go down to your local motorcycle shop.  You also need to read up on some stuff in some magazines.  That's going to be where you get your best answers.  People online can't help you much because they don't know your personality (are you an aggresive person or are you more relaxed)  telling us height and weight doesn't do us much good either.  You need to find out what bike is going to be good for the terrain that you're riding on.  Go down to your local motorcycle dealer.  Usually people in the ATV and motorcycle industry are very friendly and they will help you find the bike that best fits you. first u should watch a motocross race and see how they ride.  for ur hieght and weight u should get 150r racing honda.  thier fast and easy to control for a begginer.  then go out and practice alot to help out ur skills.

you should be on a 85cc which you can find used ones close to that price. Buy the newest one you can find for the money buy a Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki. newest year is most important. You could start out trail riding in your area reading the terrain helps alot with mx in the future. People will tell you to by a CRF150R but you will not find one that cheap. try www.craigslist.com and www.cycletrader.com  The only real way to learn is just start riding.
