Motor Scooters in LA?

Question

Do you or anyone you know commute in the city of LA using a motor scooter?

If so, what size scoot? What part of LA?

I'm assuming they don't use it on the freeways. That would be insane.

But I do think MAYBE you could ride one around on the city streets.

I would only want a 50cc-150cc. If I had a 50cc I'd modify it to get it up to 45mph or so.

A Kymco  Super 9 would not have to be  modified, But you would probably be better off with a Agility 125 or People 200s. They have  many style depending on what you need from 50 to 500cc. Kymco  is rated the best in the world only surpassed by Piaggio and Vespa. They are rated a  better scooter than all of your Japanese name brands who charge you for the name, I have found them to be very reliable , I seldom do anything more than normal maintenance to them. Another brand that is also a  good buy is Hyosung. You should also make sure you take a MSF safety course.
