Motor noise threw speakers?

Where can I buy a noise reducer or something to take engine sound out of my radio in my car. I can hear my car running threw my speaker. A link would be great thanks.

  1. you need suppressors for the alternator and the spark ignition, plugs etc.

    if the noise is a whine its mostly the alternator

    if it sounds more harsh like a bad exhaust its the ignition/plug leads


  2. That usually happens when you have a loose ground wire.

  3. this will work-get your head unit out and get 2 pices of speaker wire strip both sides wrap one end on your rca (just around the metal in the outside next to the plastic) then the other end ground it to something metal or unscrew a s***w in back of the head unit and ground it there.(do this on both ends of your rcas ) ill work

  4. check your grounds.. on the stereo and amps..

    and i think running the rca's too close to the power wire for the amps can cuase that too.
