Motor number on a Passat

Question

I want to know were to find the motor (engine) number on a Volkswagen Passat 2008. Is there a sticker or can I find it in the owners manual.? Thanks.

if it is a 2.0t FSI, it is BPG. like the other guy said, it is the 8th digit in your VIN.

The 8th digit of the vin is which motor is in your car. Call your VW dealer with the 8 th digit and they will tell you
