There's a SLIGHT and remote possibility that will happen. Full synthetic oils have the same quality and they have been known to make the engine "fail" soon after switching because it would wash away lot of gunk and either it blocks the flow or the gunk was causing the old engines from leaking oil like a sieve.

But it is the opinion of all mechanic and engineers that having a clean engine is better than having the gunk build up and guarantee EVENTUAL failure.

    good luck...

  2. It will be fine. Most motor oils are the detergent type.

  3. hi.. eventually yes, it will. but you dont have to worry about it until you have at least 200 k miles on the engine. which you will need repair anyway. like valve job, valve seals, intake manifold gasket,,,,,,,,,, by that time its good to have the inside of the engine cleaned.

replace engine oil/filter every 5k miles and you will be ok. replace coolant every.......2yrs or so,, just when conductivity increases..or they say, acidity increases. this way , rust and bad coolant wont eat up your seals and gaskets specially the head. enjoy.

  4. NO Just means it cleans better, Which it does but NO it won't clog anything.
